Radar Just

Smart search

One field. Type it the way you know it; it works out what you mean.

A number in any form, a name, a company, a court, a year or a subject: Radar Just turns what you typed into chips you can see and change. Your own cases answer at once; the courts, only when you press.

The Search screen: the empty field, the Search the portal button with its cost of one search, the 20 searches left this hour and the chips to start with.
A case’s related cases, found by its parties: the numbers, the stage, the hearing and a Follow button beside each.

How you search

  1. You type

For example a name, a court and a year. As you type, the text becomes chips: Party, Court, Year. A wrong chip you change or remove.

  2. Your cases first

The cases you follow, your groups’ cases and what you saved answer at every letter, without using a search.

  3. The courts, on request

Only when you press Enter or the button do you search the courts: one of the hour’s 20 searches, shown on the button before you spend it.

Chips, not formulas.

The field recognises a case link, a case number (“dosar nr. 91234/3/2025” copied from an email too), a court written short (Trib. București, Jud. Sector 3, ÎCCJ), the year, “changed this week”, the subject and the name of a party or a company. Each becomes a chip: Number, Party, Company, Court, Year, Changed, Subject.

  • When it is not sure, the chip says why: “Pick the court”, “The year is missing”, “Just one word”.
  • The field of law, the stage and “only mine” filter what was found and cost nothing.

You know what it costs before it costs.

However many chips you have, it costs one search. The button says “Search the portal · 1 search” and how many you have left this hour; once you have used them all, it tells you when the next one comes.

A search that would bring back thousands of cases is stopped before it leaves: a court and a year alone are not enough, it needs a name, a company, a subject or a number.

Over 1,000 cases, said plainly.

A search brings at most 1,000 results. When it goes past them, the app says the list is not complete, shows you the 100 changed most recently and suggests how to narrow it: the court holding most of the cases, the newest year, or the cases changed in the last 30 days, each with how many cases it keeps.

  • The filters by court, field, stage and year work on the cases already found, with no new search.

You look before you follow.

You open a result and see the case at a glance: the court, the stage, the last hearing in plain words, the next hearing with the panel, the parties, the details and the appeals. All of it comes from what the search already brought: the preview costs no further search.

  • Follow: at every court, into the appeal too.
  • Add to a group: one of your own groups or a shared group.
  • Save: you keep it without following it and find it again in Saved.
  • Related cases: the same number at other courts, at no cost; the rest, searched by the case's parties, for one search.

Tick several, follow them at once.

You tick the results that are yours and follow them all in one go, or put them in a group. The bar at the bottom shows you the room first: “Following 19 of 25 · after: 24 of 25”. Nothing is followed by halves: if they do not all fit, it tells you how many do.

  • The whole batch uses one search at most.
  • A case your own search found in the last 15 minutes you follow with no search at all: the app counts down the minutes left.

At hand, from anywhere.

On the web, ⌘K or Ctrl K opens search from any page, with Your cases, On the portal, Groups, Saved and Actions, where you also find “Follow a panel” and “Import a list”. On a phone, the magnifier at the top opens it full screen.

A criminal case never appears in a search.

Not by name, not by subject. A criminal case you follow by number only, once you say how you are connected to it. At the High Court of Cassation and Justice, search works by number only.

Questions about search

How many searches do I have?

20 court searches an hour. Searching your own cases, filtering the results and the preview use none. You see them any time in Settings › Plan.

Why does it search a company without “SRL”?

Courts write the legal form in different ways (SRL, S.R.L., S.R.L), and a search finds only what matches word for word. So the app leaves it out and searches the company’s name alone.

Can I find a case by my own name?

Yes: you type the name, the court and the year, and the app finds the cases it appears in. To follow the name and hear of new cases, in Settings › Names and subjects, you first confirm why: it is your name, a party you represent, or you have another legitimate interest.

Do my searches stay?

Yes, in Recent searches, with their answers; “Search again” refreshes one, for one search. A result you saved you find in Saved, with the time of the search.
