Follow cases

Add the case once. The rest comes to you.

Type the case number or paste its link from the courts’ portal. From then on, Radar Just tells you when something new appears: a hearing, a ruling, an appeal, a new party.

The Cases screen: the filters and the starred cases, one with a hearing today and one in a few days.
A case card in Radar Just: the label, the status in one line, today's court list button and the summary.

How you add a case

  1. The number or the link

Type the whole number, for example 91234/3/2025, or paste the case's link from the portal. You pick the court only if you want to.

  2. You see it in moments

The app shows you the case as the court published it: the court, the stage, the next hearing.

  3. The starting point

You start from what is there now: no notification for what was already in the case. From here on you hear of every change.

A case is added from anywhere.

The “Follow a case” sheet opens from Cases, from a search result, from a similar case, from a line of the court list or from a link you received. The number comes filled in; you only confirm.

The Follow a case sheet: the field for the number or the link, the optional court and the Follow button.

All your cases, at once.

With “Add several cases” you paste a list of up to 500 numbers (from an email, a summons, a spreadsheet column) or choose a .csv or .xlsx file. The app finds the case numbers, you tick the ones to follow, as many as the account’s limit holds, and it adds them all, one after another.

  • A number with court code 1 is followed at the High Court.
  • And back out, as a table: in Settings › My data you download your cases and coming hearings as CSV files, for Excel, without the parties' names.

A criminal case on the list is not followed until you first confirm you have an interest in it.

The Add several cases sheet: the pasted text, the button for a .csv or .xlsx file, the 4 numbers found, ticked, and the room left in the account.

The case card, on one screen.

The case’s status in one line, the next hearing, the parties, the history of hearings and the latest changes.

  • A private note and a label, which only you see.
  • A star puts it first in Cases and in Today.
  • A case you no longer want to hear about you mute, without losing it.

By party or by subject.

You can also follow a name or a subject at a court, to learn when new cases appear. Up to three per account.

  • For a name, you first confirm why: it is yours, a party you represent, or you have a legitimate interest.
  • A new case found this way is announced to you. If you want, you turn on “Follow new cases automatically”, and each new case is followed as far as your account has room.
The Parties and subjects screen: a name followed, with how many cases it found, a new insolvency case and the automatic follow switches.

Search the courts’ cases from the app.

One field understands what you type: a number, a name, a company, a court, a year or a subject. Your own cases answer at once; the courts, only when you press, with one of the hour’s 20 searches. Smart search has its own page.

Past 1,000 results the list stops: the app tells you it is not complete and suggests how to narrow it.

The Search screen: the field, the Search the portal button with its cost of one search, and the chips to start with.

The same case, at the other courts.

When a case goes to appeal, it gets another number at another court. Related cases show you the numbers with the same base, so you can follow it there too.

The list of a case's related cases: the same base number at other courts.

What was already in the case when you added it never reaches you as news.

An old hearing, a past session, a party who was already there: you see them on the card, without a notification. You hear only of what changes from now on, once for each change.

Questions about following cases

How many cases can I follow?

Up to 25 cases and 3 names or subjects per account, with 20 court searches an hour. You see them any time in Settings › Plan.

Can I follow a criminal case?

Yes, once you confirm you have an interest in it: you are a party, you represent a party, or you have another legitimate interest. Without the confirmation, the app does not send you its changes.

What if the case is not published yet?

You follow it anyway and hear when it appears. If the number is wrong, the app tells you on the spot why it cannot find it.

Can I follow cases at the High Court?

Yes, by number. When you add one, choose the court “Înalta Curte de Casație și Justiție” or type a number with court code 1. Changes come less often than at the other courts: around a hearing, within about an hour; otherwise, within a day. At the High Court you cannot follow by name or subject, and there is no court list, court card or panel to follow.
