Getting started
Your first day with Radar Just.
You got a summons, someone in your family has a case, or you work with the courts: the steps are the same. You make your account, say who you are, find your case and learn what changes in it.
Three steps
You make your account
With your email and a password you choose, or with Google or Apple.
You add the case
The number on the summons or the case’s link. Without a number, you search by name, court and year.
You learn what changes
On your phone, in your browser or by email, in plain words.
You find your case.
Most surely, by its number: it is on the summons or on any paper from the court, in the form 91234/3/2025.
- You type it in Follow a case or paste the case’s link from the courts’ portal.
- Without a number, you look for it in Search by your name, the court and the year. Your own cases answer first; the search across the courts runs only when you press the button, which tells you what it costs.
Criminal cases never appear in a search: you follow one by its number, once you confirm you have an interest in it.

You read the case in plain words.
The case card shows its status in one line, the next hearing, the parties and the hearings. Every change has the same shape: what happened, the court’s text quoted exactly, what it means and what comes next.
- For someone with a case of their own, the explanation also says what they can do, then reminds them to ask their lawyer.
The explanations are general, not legal advice. The court’s words are below, in short, and in the glossary, at length.

If you have a lawyer, they can show you the case.
A lawyer who follows your case in Radar Just can give you read-only access to it: through an email with a link, or a QR code scanned at the office. You see the case in plain words, with the next hearing, and the lawyer’s messages.
- The lawyer sees nothing of your account.
- Access ends when the lawyer ends it, on the date they chose, or when you give it up.

The words you will see
A few words come up often in a case and in the court’s text. In short:
- Termen
- The day and time the court hears the case; “termen” is also the time you have to appeal.
- Complet
- The judge or judges of the case, with a short name, for example C7.
- Lista de ședință
- A panel’s cases on a day, in the order they are called; the time is approximate.
- Stadiu
- The stage of the case: the fond is the first hearing, apel and recurs come after it.
- Amânare
- The case was not heard to the end that day and gets a new hearing date.
- Pronunțare
- The moment the court gives its ruling. It can be put off to another day.
- Soluția pe scurt
- What the court decided, in a few words; the written judgment comes later.
- Cale de atac
- The way a ruling is challenged, for example an appeal, and its time limit.
- Suspendare
- The case is put on hold for a while, for the reason the court wrote, then resumes.
General explanations. The court’s text has the last word.
Radar Just puts public data in plain words, by fixed rules. It computes no deadlines and does not tell you what to do in your case: for that, talk to a lawyer.
Questions at the start
Do I need to know law to use Radar Just?
No. Choose “I have a case, mine or my family’s” at the start, and the app tells you each change without jargon. The glossary explains the court’s words.
I don’t know the case number. What do I do?
Look for it on the summons or on any paper you got from the court. If you don’t have it, search for the case in the app by your name, the court and the year.
Can I follow a relative’s case?
Yes, by its number: court cases are public. You follow a criminal case only once you confirm you have an interest in it.
Does a Radar Just notification count as a summons?
No. A Radar Just notification is not a summons and not an official communication: you get the official papers from the court, and time limits run from them.
