Radar Just

Your own case

Your court case, in plain words.

A case of your own, or one in your family? Radar Just shows you, in large type, when the next day in court is, what happened last time and what you can do until then, without legal jargon.

The Today screen for someone with a succession case: the next hearing, in 14 days, Thursday 22 October at 09:00, at the Bucharest Tribunal, room 2, with the button Add to calendar.
The Follow a case window: the field for the case number or its link, and the court, which is optional.

How you start

  1. You say you have a case

    At “Who are you?” you choose “I have a case, mine or my family’s”. From then on, the app speaks plainly.

  2. You find your case

    You type the number on the summons, for example 91234/3/2025, or paste the link from portal.just.ro. If you don’t have the number, you search by your name, the court and the year.

  3. You hear when something changes

    You get a notification and an email at every change, and before each day in court, a reminder.

Your case, large, on the first screen.

On the Today screen, each case has its own card:

  • the day and time of the next hearing, that is the day the case is heard, how many days are left and, if the hearing was postponed, why;
  • the court, the room and the panel (the judge or judges of the case), as you will see them on the list at the courtroom door;
  • the button “Add to calendar”;
  • the last change, in plain words, and “What you can do until then”.

What happened, without hard words.

When the court writes something new, you see its text, quoted exactly, and, beside it, what it means in simple words: for instance, that the hearing was postponed and why, or that the court will give its ruling on a set day (that is the “pronunțare”). You find the harder words in the glossary.

  • “Ask your lawyer” helps you ask the right question; without a lawyer, the Guide tab tells you where to ask for help.
  • The app does not know which side you are on, so it assumes nothing.

No number? You can find it.

The case number is on the summons, at the top of the first page, after “Dosar nr.”. If you don’t have it to hand, you search by your name, the court and the year: the app offers these fields first.

  • A search of the courts runs only when you press the button, and the app tells you first that it costs one of the hour’s 20 searches.
  • You open the result, see that it is your case, and only then follow it.

The first steps, one by one, are in the getting started guide.

If your lawyer uses Radar Just.

Your lawyer can give you access to your case: you get an email, open it and see the case explained in plain words, with their messages above each change. You don’t see their notes or their other cases, and they don’t see your account.

The case as the client sees it: the title the lawyer gave it, the stage, the ruling in short and the lawyer's messages.

Hear in time, and the evening before.

You get a notification at every change in the case, and an email, unless you turn them off. The evening before the hearing, at 19:00, and that morning, at 07:30, a reminder comes.

  • On a phone, as a notification. In the web app, as a browser notification once you allow it; on an iPhone, once you add the app to the Home Screen.
  • Between 22:00 and 07:00 notifications arrive without sound, if you left quiet nights on.

Your name appears in no notification.

Notifications and emails say only what happened, the case number and the court. The parties’ names and the court’s text you read only in the app, signed in to your account.

Questions from people with a case

What does “termen” mean?

The day and time your case is heard in court. At a hearing, the court may give a ruling or postpone the case to another hearing. Other words like this one are explained in the glossary.

What does “pronunțare” mean?

The day the court gives its ruling. It is not a hearing you have to attend, and it is often postponed again. Radar Just lets you know when the ruling comes out.

Does the app tell me what to do?

No. It tells you what the court wrote, what it means and, when the court wrote an appeal, how it wrote it. For what is best to do in your case, ask a lawyer; the app gives no legal advice.

Who else sees my case?

Court cases are public to anyone who has the number. What you do in the app, what you follow and your notes, only you see.

Add your first case.

The number on the summons is all you need. In the browser now, on iPhone and Android soon.
