In-house counsel

Your company’s cases, on one screen.

For in-house counsel, Today starts with the hearings of the next 14 days and the rulings due. The search starts from the company’s name, and you can follow the company to hear when it appears in a new case.

The Hearings screen: the cases waiting for a ruling first, each with the time and the court, then tomorrow.
The Parties and subjects screen: a name followed at every court, with 8 cases found, a new insolvency case among them, and the switch Follow new cases automatically.

How you start

  1. You choose “In-house counsel”

    At “Who are you?”. The decisions of the ÎCCJ and the Constitutional Court and the Ministry of Justice’s news are on from the start, with the daily summary at 07:30.

  2. You add the company’s cases

    By number or from a list you already have, pasted from an email or from a .csv or .xlsx file.

  3. You follow the company

    By name, at one court or at all: you hear when it appears in a new case.

Today starts with the hearings ahead.

In the in-house counsel profile’s order:

  • the hearings of the next 14 days, with the court’s card one tap away;
  • today’s and tomorrow’s rulings due;
  • two hearings at the same time at different courts;
  • what changed in your cases;
  • what the names and subjects you follow found;
  • the decisions and news from your sources.

The company, followed by name.

The app offers once to follow the company: you type it once and hear of every new case it appears in, at the court you choose or at all. First you confirm the reason: it is the company you work for, a party you represent, or you have a legitimate interest.

A name or subject you follow takes one of the account’s 3 places. With “Follow new cases automatically”, a new case is followed too, as far as your 25 allow.

The search starts from the company.

On a fresh search, the app first offers Company, then Number and Court. You type the company’s name as you know it: the legal form doesn’t matter, so the company is found however the cases write it.

  • Company, court, year and subject go together, in one search of the hour’s 20.
  • Past 1,000 results the list is no longer complete: the app tells you so and shows you how to narrow it.

What matters, without the noise.

For in-house counsel, email starts with the important changes: rulings, new hearing dates and appeals. You can switch it to every change, one summary a day or nothing at any time.

  • On a phone, as a notification. In the web app, as a browser notification once you allow it; on an iPhone, once you add the app to the Home Screen.
  • The daily summary, at 07:30: today’s hearings and what changed.

A group for the legal department.

After your fifth case, the app offers once a shared group: the department’s cases on one list, followed once for everyone, each member with their role and with who is responsible for each hearing.

Your company appears in no notification.

No notification and no email carries the parties’ names or your label: only what happened, the case number and the court. You read the rest in the app.
