About Radar Just

What is Radar Just?

An app that follows your cases and tells you in plain words what changed: a hearing, a ruling, an appeal. It works now in the browser, on a computer or a phone; on iPhone and Android it arrives soon.

Who is Radar Just for?

For anyone who follows a case: people with a case of their own or their family’s, legal professionals from lawyers to notaries and bailiffs, journalists and students. At the start you say who you are, and the app fits its screens and explanations to you.

Is it an official service?

No. Radar Just shows you in plain words what the courts and some public institutions have published, but it is not a service of the courts or of the Ministry of Justice; the official record remains the case file at the court.

Who makes Radar Just?

Radar Just is developed and owned by Protocore. The data controller and the service provider are named in the terms of use and the privacy notice.

Does it give me legal advice?

No. The explanations are general, not legal advice, and follow fixed rules. We repeat an appeal deadline as the court wrote it, without computing it. For your own case, talk to a lawyer.

Cases

Which courts does it cover?

The district courts, the tribunals and the courts of appeal, with their public cases, and the High Court of Cassation and Justice, whose cases you follow by number.

How do I add a case?

Type the whole number, for example 91234/3/2025, or paste the case’s link from the courts’ portal; for the High Court, choose the court or type a number with court code 1. You start from where the case is now: you hear only of what changes from here on.

Can I add several cases at once?

Yes. With “Add several cases” you paste up to 500 numbers (from an email, a summons or a spreadsheet) or choose a .csv or .xlsx file. The app follows as many as the account’s limit holds.

How many cases can I follow?

Up to 25 cases and 3 names or subjects per account, with 20 court searches an hour. You see them any time in Settings › Plan.

Can I search or follow cases by name?

Yes. In Search you type a name, a company, the court and the year. To follow a name and hear of new cases, you first confirm why: it is yours, a party’s you represent, or you have a legitimate interest; you add the cases found yourself.

Notifications

How soon do I learn of a change?

Not in real time, but without you checking. The closer a hearing or a ruling, the sooner you know: on the day of a session and in the first days a ruling is awaited, usually within a quarter of an hour of the change; with a hearing in the next 7 days, within about an hour; otherwise, within a day. At the High Court it takes longer.

What does a notification show?

What happened, the case number and the court, for example “Decision: partly granted” and “99862/301/2025 · Judecătoria Sectorul 3 București”. Never the parties’ names or your label.

Where do alerts reach me?

On the phone as notifications, in the browser as notifications, once you allow them (on an iPhone, after adding the web app to the Home Screen), and by email. By default, one email for each change; in Settings › Notifications › Email you choose a summary a day, only the major changes, or none.

Will it disturb me at night?

No. Between 22:00 and 07:00 notifications come without sound, and the reminders for hearings come at 19:00 and at 07:30.

Can I choose when reminders come?

Yes. In Settings › Reminders you choose the moments: 14, 7 or 3 days before, the evening before, at 19:00, and on the morning of the hearing, at 07:30. By default, the evening before and the morning. A personal reminder, for a day and a time you choose, is set from the case’s menu.

Sources

What else does Radar Just follow, besides cases?

The High Court’s RIL and HP decisions and the new questions sent to it, and the Constitutional Court’s decisions, once officially published. Then the notices of the Ministry of Justice and of the National Union of Romanian Bars.

What will you not find in Radar Just?

You will not find cases that are not public, and not the whole Monitorul Oficial: only the High Court’s acts and the Constitutional Court’s decisions published in it. Nothing from the CSM or DEN either.

Why do I see a particular decision?

Each item chosen for you says why, for example because you follow cases with the same subject or at the same court. “Less of this” changes its weight for your account only.

Can I follow a law?

Yes, up to 25 laws. When a new version appears, we tell you, usually the next morning.

The office

What tools do I get for an office?

Tasks on each case, hearing notes, links to a case’s papers, time with a timer and totals, the clients register, the contracts register and the in/out register, and the stamp duty estimate. On the web, fees, expenses and fee statements too.

Are the office tools in the free plan?

Yes: tasks, time, clients, registers and stamp duty are in every account, on every plan. Fees are in the Individual and Cabinet plans; while the launch lasts, in every account.

Does Radar Just make invoices?

No. A fee statement is an informative document, marked as not being a fiscal invoice, and the totals and the accounting file are what you bill from, in your own software.

Is the stamp duty shown the one I will pay?

It is an estimate under OUG no. 80/2013, with the article for every amount. The court sets the duty, and the estimate does not account for exemptions or reductions.

Price

How much does it cost?

Nothing, during the launch. No card and no subscription. The plans after the launch, with their prices, are on the Pricing page; we announce the payment’s opening ahead.

Can my account move to a paid plan by itself?

No, never. You choose whether to move to a paid plan; nothing is sold in the phone app.

Is there a plan for law offices?

Yes: the Cabinet plan, with seats, a shared list of cases and the office’s fees, has its price on the Pricing page; until online payment opens, we give it on an invoice. The shared group, tasks given to colleagues, comments and the monthly report are in every account.

Data and privacy

Who sees what I follow?

What you follow for yourself, no other user. An account sees only its own cases and searches, the cases of the groups it belongs to and the case a lawyer gave it access to.

Can I ask for a code at sign-in, on top of my password?

Yes. In Settings › Two-step verification you turn it on: at sign-in we also ask for a code from the authenticator app on your phone, and for days without it you have backup codes. A group can ask all its members to use it.

Does the site use cookies?

No. radarjust.ro uses no cookies, has no traffic analytics and has no ads.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, in Settings, or by writing to us from the account's address. The account deletion page says what is deleted and what remains.

Can I download my data?

Yes. In Settings › My data you download, in one file, everything we keep about your account, and your cases and hearings as CSV tables for Excel.

Platforms

Which devices does it work on?

In the browser, now, at app.radarjust.ro, and soon on iPhone and Android, on the App Store and Google Play. One account, the same cases.

How do I sign in?

With your email address and your password, or with Google or Apple. You get a code by email only once, when you make your account, to confirm the address. If you forget your password, choose “I forgot my password” and we send you a code to set a new one.

Does it work without signal?

On a phone, yes: cases, the agenda and saved items stay readable, encrypted on the phone. In the browser, no: once you close the tab, no case stays in it.

Is the app in English too?

Yes, in Romanian and in English. The court’s text stays as the court wrote it.
