Judges and prosecutors

The panel’s list, every morning.

For a judge or a prosecutor, Today starts with the panel you follow: how many cases it has today, from what time and in what order. The search starts from the number, and the decisions of the ÎCCJ and the Constitutional Court come from the start.

The Today screen with a followed panel: panel C14 of the Sector 1 Bucharest District Court, 20 cases today, from 08:30, and the first five cases on the list, each with its number, field and stage.
The Follow a panel window: the court, the panels on its court lists of the last 30 days, with C14 chosen, and the panel’s list every morning at 07:30.

How you start

  1. You choose “Judge or prosecutor”

    The fifth tab becomes Guide, the explanations are short, and the decisions of the ÎCCJ and the Constitutional Court are on from the start. We show you no promotion.

  2. You follow the panel

    You choose the court and the panel, from those with court lists in the last 30 days.

  3. You get the list

    On every day the panel sits, from 07:30: how many cases it has, from what time and in what order.

The panel, first in Today.

In the profile’s order:

  • your panel today: the cases on the list, in order, with the number, the field and the stage;
  • the hearings of the cases you follow, if you follow cases too;
  • two hearings at the same time at different courts;
  • the decisions of the ÎCCJ and the Constitutional Court from your sources;
  • what changed in the cases you follow.

The list’s lines show the case number, the field and the stage, without the parties’ names.

What moves on the list, said once.

Besides the day’s list, you hear when, on the panel’s lists for the next 14 days, a new case appears, a case moves to another day, time or sitting, or one is gone. Each change is told to you once.

The search starts from the number.

On a fresh search, the app first offers Number, then Court. A full number finds the case at the courts it has reached; from the same search, under Actions, you open a court’s list or follow another panel.

The panel, shared with its clerk.

The app offers once “The panel’s group”: a shared group that follows the panel, so its list and what moves on it reach every member, by their own notifications. You make it with the courtroom clerk, or with whoever else works on the same panel.

Few notifications, at sensible hours.

The panel’s list comes in the morning. For the cases you follow, email starts with the important changes only: rulings, new hearing dates and appeals.

  • In the web app, as a browser notification once you allow it; on an iPhone, once you add the app to the Home Screen.
  • With quiet nights on, notifications between 22:00 and 07:00 arrive without sound.

The same public data, for everyone.

The judge’s or prosecutor’s profile opens no case and shows nothing the courts do not make public. The panel’s list is the one the court publishes; your account sees only what it follows and the groups it belongs to.

Questions from judges and prosecutors

How many panels can I follow?

Up to three, together with the names and subjects you follow: a panel takes one of the account’s 3 places. A shared group can follow a panel too, for all its members.

At what time does the list come?

From 07:30, on the days the panel sits, once the court has published its list. If the list comes out later, you get it once it does.

Is the profile for prosecutors too?

Yes: it is called “Judge or prosecutor”. You follow cases by number and the panels of the courts where you work, as a judge does.

Do I see other profiles’ offers?

No. For judges, prosecutors and clerks, the fifth tab is Guide and we show no promotions. Every feature stays in the search, under Actions.
