In short
- radarjust.ro uses no cookies, has no traffic analytics and has no ads. It keeps one thing in your browser: dark mode, if you choose it.
- The web app (app.radarjust.ro) uses a single cookie, to keep you signed in, and keeps your preferences and a few steps in your browser, so you don't go through them again.
- None of it is for ads, for traffic analytics or for tracking you across websites. That is why you see no cookie banner.
- You delete any of it at any time in your browser's settings, under the site's data.
On radarjust.ro
| What | Where | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| rj-theme | Browser storage (localStorage) | Keeps your choice from the dark mode switch, so the page opens the same way next time. Without it, the site is light. | Until you change it or clear the site's data. |
Nothing else: no cookies, no traffic analytics, no ads. The fonts, images and screens come from radarjust.ro, not from other websites.
In the web app
The cookie
| What | Where | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| rj_refresh | A cookie on api.radarjust.ro | Keeps you signed in: it is your session's key. The browser sends it only to the Radar Just server, only when you sign in, when the session renews and when you sign out. No page can read it (HttpOnly), it travels only over HTTPS, and it never goes to another site (SameSite=Strict). | 30 days from its last renewal; deleted when you sign out. |
Browser storage (localStorage)
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| rj.session | A sign that you are signed in in this browser, and the account's id. It is no password and no token: without the cookie it opens nothing. | Until you sign out. |
| rj.lang, rj.lang.pending | The language you chose and, if you chose it before signing in, that it must be sent to your account. | Until you change it. |
| rj.appearance | Your appearance (light, dark or as the device, text size, high contrast) and, if you chose it before signing in, what must be sent to your account. | Until you change it. |
| rj.onboarding | The first steps passed in this browser (the language, “Who are you?”, the appearance, the email step), the profile chosen before you had an account, and whether a session ran here, so you go straight to signing in. | Until you delete your account; then you start again. |
| rj.invite.held, rj.groupInvite.held, rj.groupLink.held, rj.share.held | The code or link you opened the app with (a colleague's invitation, an invitation to a group, a group's join link, or access to a case from a lawyer), until you use it. | Until you use it or decline it; at most 30 days (a colleague's invitation, a group's link), 14 days (an invitation to a group) or 7 days (access to a case). |
| rj.pendingFollow | A case you could not follow because you were at your limit: the number and the court, never a name, so you can add it once you make room. | Until you add it or dismiss it. |
| rj.installation, rj.push.off, rj.push.offered | This browser's identifier for notifications, whether you turned them off here, and whether we already offered them. | Until you clear the site's data. |
| rj.dosare.side, rj.servicii.side | Which side you left open: Cases or Hearings; in Services, the side you chose. | Until you change it. |
Only while the tab is open (sessionStorage)
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| rj.clockOffset | The difference between the browser's clock and the server's, so the minutes shown are right. | Until you close the tab. |
Notifications in the browser
If you turn notifications on, the browser keeps a service worker from app.radarjust.ro (sw.js), which only shows them: it keeps no pages or data and does not intercept the app's requests. The subscription is kept by the browser, with its push service (section 5 of the notice); you turn it off in Settings › Notifications or in the browser's settings.
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you see the Google or Apple buttons on the sign-in screen, the page loads their sign-in script from their servers, and the sign-in happens in a window of theirs. What they keep in your browser is under their rules (section 7 of the notice).
What we never write to the browser
The access token stays in memory only (15 minutes), and so do the cases' data and the cases opened recently (a label may hold a name): they go when you close the tab or sign out.
How you delete it
- Signing out deletes the session's sign from the browser and ends the cookie on the server.
- Deleting your account also deletes the first steps from this browser and its notification subscription.
- Your preferences (language, appearance) stay in the browser, so you don't choose them again; you delete them at any time in the browser's settings, under the site data of app.radarjust.ro or radarjust.ro.
